How many guests are required to book a kids’ party?

A minimum of 8 kids or teens are required to book a party.

How many lanes are included in a kids’ party package?

Packages include (1) lane for every (6) kids on the package.

Will my lanes be together?

Yes. When you schedule an event, your lanes are automatically reserved in a consecutive group.  Yes.

What is the minimum age a child is included in a kid’s package?

Any child who is able to bowl is included in the package, which is usually around (3) or (4) years old. Children younger than this would not be included in your guest count. You are, however, welcome to order from the kids menu for them upon arrival.

Does Star Lanes provide tableware and utensils?

Yes! We provide plates, cups, napkins for the food/beverage service as well as for the cupcakes or cake you may bring in to the facility.

Can I bring outside food?

Cake, ice cream cake, or cupcakes are allowed as long as they are purchased from a store or bakery. Home baked goods and any other outside food are not allowed.

How long is an average kid’s party?

Parties are typically 2 hours long.

Do you require a deposit?

Yes, we require a 50% non-refundable deposit to book an event. We require the remaining balance to be paid in full five days prior to your event.

What time should I arrive?

We recommend that you arrive 15 minutes prior to your scheduled event time to check in at the host stand, grab shoe rentals, and head up to your lanes.

Can I bring in decorations?

Yes, as soon as your lanes are made available for your event, you are free to decorate your reserved lanes as you choose. We simply ask that there be no glitter, confetti, silly string, and nothing that hangs from the ceiling.

Where/When will the food be served?

The food will be served and replenished lane-side for the first hour.

What happens if I’m late for my party?

Please contact us if you are running late. We start and end your lanes according to the times stated on your event contract. However, we may be able to extend your lanes, dependent upon lane availability at the time your event ends.

How do you charge for the adults attending my child’s birthday party?

There is no charge for adults attending a kid’s party, unless they would like to eat, drink, or bowl themselves.

Can I book an Adult and Kid’s party package together?

Absolutely. If you are expecting a larger number of adults to attend your child’s birthday party, it makes perfect sense to include all of your guests in the fun!

What else can our group do other than bowl?

Star Lanes offers something for everyone. There’s a wide arrangement of alternate activities such as ping-pong, pool tables, arcade gaming, and more. For those guests that want to sit back and mingle, our venue also provides an upbeat lounge-style atmosphere for your guests to enjoy.
